Company

Ascentec Engineering was founded June of 2001 by process and manufacturing engineers with over twenty years of electronics assembly experience. We surveyed electronics assembly technicians and engineers regarding their tooling and tooling vendors and found their challenges to be the same as the ones we faced. To answer these challenges we have formed a company that combines engineering skills with electronics assembly experience to provide expedient solutions unmatched in the industry.

  • Engineering

A partnership with Ascentec Engineering adds engineering resources to your organization. As your workload increases or your time and resources diminish, let us assume the responsibility for your tooling requirements. Our engineering solutions can optimize your entire process flow and you will be secure with the knowledge that the product you receive works the first time. The time saved working with Ascentec Engineering allows you to make progress on those proactive projects required to remain competitive.

  • Experience

Ascentec Engineering provides more than just a machine shop to build fixtures. Our staff has been responsible for every major process in an electronic assembly facility and understands the entire process flow. Whether surface mount, adhesive dispense, reflow, component placement, temporary solder mask, wave solder, depaneling, press fit or test and repair, we understand the strengths and limitations of these processes and how tooling can optimize process flow. Our experience begins even before the circuit board reaches the assembly floor. Our knowledge of process development, DFM guidelines, PCB data files and statistical process control translates to complete assembly solutions.

  • Expedience

Ascentec Engineering has demonstrated a commitment to expedience by providing the fastest industry turn-times. Our lead-time is determined by when the client needs the product. We begin the delivery process with a clear understanding of the project requirements and utilize an extensive custom database to track customer profiles. Our staff understands and can quickly translate all standard PCB data formats. The CAD and CAM systems are uniquely linked for rapid design cycles. Ascentec Egineering's advanced cutting methods, coupled with our unique clamping system, result in the most accurate tolerances and fastest turn-times in the industry.
