We have assembled an executive team for our board of directors that combines progressive business leadership with extensive engineering experience.

CEO - Kim Brady
Kim Brady, Chief Executive Officer, is responsible for the direction and long-term strategy of Ascentec Engineering. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in finance, and also a Master of Management degree from Northwestern University. He is currently a principal with Casas, Benjamin, and White, LLC where he specializes in operation and financial restructuring, corporate finance, mergers, acquisition and divestitures. He directs strategic plan development on behalf of creditors, debtors, equity sponsors, third party purchasers and sellers. Additional experience includes General Manager and CFO of Doshi Diagnostic Services, Manager of Planning and Strategy for Baxter Europe, senior management team member of PrimeCare International and the Senior Associate of Planning and Acquisitions for Caremark International.
President- Brian Williamson
Brian Williamson, Chief Financial Officer, is responsible for the accounting procedures and the financial direction of Ascentec Engineering. He holds both Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees in accounting and is a Certified Public Accountant with more than eight years experience in accounting and taxation. Currently he is the CFO and Director of Tax and Financial Reporting for Kingsway America, Inc., where he is responsible for direct tax reporting. This includes the U.S. federal tax and potential obligations for state taxes in forty-five separate states, and twenty-five subsidiary operations of Kingsway America. He is a member of the AICPA and Illinois CPA Society. Previously he was a public accounting manager at KPMG with clients ranging between $200 thousand and $2 billion.
Engineering Director - Morris Torseth
Morris Torseth serves as Director of Engineering and is responsible for all new product design and development. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering from Washington State University and a Master of Science degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Portland. His research focused on advanced computer aided motion control. He has seven years of custom automation design and integration experience and five years experience as a process engineer in the electronics assembly industry. His specific experience includes managing three leading edge surface mount assembly lines, managing a three-shift manufacturing maintenance group and model shop. He was also an NPI engineer responsible for the successful integration of prototypes and new products into manufacturing. He is a specialist in custom requirements for manufacturing fixture techniques that reduce time and increase accuracy for CAD and CAM, and is trained in NEPA70 and NEC1996 electrical codes.
Manufacturing Director - David Gilliat
David Gilliat serves as Director of Manufacturing and is responsible for manufacturing and information systems strategy and implementation. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in manufacturing engineering technology, and a Master of Science degree in computer integrated manufacturing, both from Brigham Young University. His graduate research focused on optimized machining using advanced materials where he gained extensive experience with manual and CNC milling machines. He has more than five years experience as a manufacturing engineer in the electronics assembly industry. Specific experience includes working as an NPI engineer responsible for the successful integration of prototypes and new products into manufacturing, and the information systems focal point for an electronics assembly facility. He developed systems and strategies to synchronize the varying data formats from external and internal customers. He was responsible for the selection and implementation of an automated DFM system used to ensure compliance of new designs as well as the selection of software to program and optimize all automated manufacturing equipment including online documentation.
